Clark Kent Meme - Noir, Prototype, Phantom

I love the part of Noir that deals with Jimmy's dream.  The cast looked like they had so much fun (and I'm sure AOT would've loved to be included too...assholes!).  But the rest of the episode?  I'm still confused as to who shot Lana, and what she was trying to do.

Prototype and Phantom didn't work so well for me.  They could've, but I thought the execution left something to be desired.  Suprisingly, some of my favorite scenes from these 2 episodes is the Lexana stuff.  It was just so dark and twisted and hateful at that point.  I'm not sure what it says about me that I enjoyed it.

And BTW, when did my life get so freaking busy?  AHHHHH!!!!!

I loved me some Clark in that wife beaters shirt!
Damn he was frakin hot

He was smokin' in this episode. My god, I wish I would do other projects, like a period piece, so we could see him like this.

Man, "Noir" was a fantastic eye candy episode! :)

Yum yum yum! :)

It was really a gorgeous looking episode. I wish SV would have more fun with concepts like this.

They had the talent to do it!

Clark was so damned sexy in those '30s clothes! He should have been cast in Public Enemies. ;)

Gawd, the scene in the undershirt! :)

The show really effed up not putting him in glasses early on. He should totally wear the Clark Kent glasses!

I hope I'm not confusing you, but I was sure they showed Clark in his glasses in this ep, right? ;)

I'm actually completely open to Clark donning the glasses. They can't honestly be worried thst Tom Welling won't look attractive enough with glasses, can they?

It must be a holdover from the old notion that people who wear glasses aren't sexy. Sheesh!

Totally! And sometimes, you just want to have fun and enjoy the Pretty without getting frustrated by the storyline.

Noir. *sigh* If you're going to do a tribute to Noir though, the character should come out of it with more than one measly clue that its the cigarette case that matters. I mean, the whole thing was so pointless except to see a little of Jimmy's perceptions of those around him. So despite all the pretty, I just can't enjoy it all that much. As for Lana, she'd gotten some info about Project Ares that she was supposed to give to Lionel but tried to hand off to the reporter. The senator guy had her shot I assume.

Prototype and Phantom work somewhat for me but they're not exactly episodes that leave me bouncing up and down with glee. I can never understand what Lionel and MM think they are doing by withholding so much information from Clark. Not the show's finest hour to expect us to forgive Lionel for the things he's done because he's supposedly doing it for Clark. I mean, come on!

You are right, Noir was ultimately pointless, and thats because the current day storyline was so stupid. Heck, they should've just made it a total filler episode, and done 1 hour of Jimmy's dream. It would've been more fun.

There are so many things in Prototype and Phantom that just don't work for me at all.

I never liked the Bizarro storyline (not even Tom could make me like that character)and I hate the Lex/Lana pairing so much I have to make an effort to re-watch those episodes. But Tom's sexiness is off the charts in Noir and that alone makes up for inconsistencies and plot holes. I would have loved to see those awesome black and white images of him on the big screen!

I didn't much care for the Bizarro storyline either. Tom was great, but SV obviously had no clue what to do with Bizarro. It wasn't even Bizarro, it was some made-up SV creation, loosely based on an idea from the comics.

I hated the Lexana a lot too. I think the latter part of S6 is the only time I enjoy it because its so hateful and bitter.

*double thud* Val! Great pics!!!!

I'm glad they did NOIR just to see Tom looking so Mmmm..good.:) As for plot...not a fan and I'm a huge fan of that particular genre.

PROTOTYPE...I liked the episode but I really thought SV was going to really explore the ramifications of what Lex was up to in S7 but it went into a "let's create my baby brother" genetics etc and then into the Veritas stuff. *shrugs shoulders*

Phantom....looking back its not a great episode and I didn't like seeing Clark so angry just wanting to punch everyone. Biz....fantastic seeing TW get to play "bad" but the story could have been more inventive. Lexana...sigh...I was at the point "when will this ever end" and then she went BOOM! Very predictable that she was setting him up since we knew how bitter she was with Lex and the Luthors in general. In some ways I couldn't blame her but then again alot of folks had been hurt by the Luthors so I could never understand why she thought she would be different...ah the rose colored glasses of love and being on the rebound.

You've pretty much summed up my feelings on the episodes very well. I just have too many issues with all 3 to really consider them "good" eps. Are there good elements in them? Of course. Tom in a t-shirt is one of them. ;)

In the second to the last pic, he looks like a more handsome Clark Gable.

He definitely looks like an oldtime movie star. Just imagine how amazing that would be on a giant movie screen. *sigh*
