I wish I COULD vote in this one. (A poll in the news today indicated 90% of Canadians support Obama - I'm surprised it's not higher!)

Go Obama/Biden!

I saw this poll taken in countries all around the world, and it seems like Obama is the candidate of choice for most countries. Keep your fingers crossed for us.

I did vote! There were absolutely no lines at my polling place. How about you? I put CNN on and with 1% of some states' polls reporting, McCain was in the lead which is making me nervous...We still have a long night ahead of us though.

Don't worry, its early. By about 10pm, if McCain has a lead, then you can worry. But don't despair. Obama owns the west coast. We just need some of the swing states to fall.

I stopped by to give my 2 cents :)

I've been bitching all week that I believe Election Day should be a work holiday. If they want people to vote, then they should make it easier for them to do so.

Oh yeah, we all at work said the same thing. But if it's a holiday then the working class, especially those in large cities where there are mostly democrats, would get the chance to vote. We can't have that, now can we.

Well, I voted in our election about a month ago that was precluded by only 37 days of campaigning and we've barely heard about since, because nothing changed? :D

It doesn't! In the end, all of us who voted today are Americans, and are very priveledged to be able to cast our ballot today. :D

It is a historic day, Val. :-) I just want this all to mean something now. I miss home. But I'm proud today, of the potential it represents.

We can only hope for the best. But I think the right person won. Now we just wait and see. The good ol' USA has come a long way, and I'm very proud of us today.
